MARO BELLO

Maro Bello is a monthly initiative open to everyone that aims to maintain and improve the environment in the Maro and Tetouan area. We collect garbage from areas where the City Council does not, such as the access roads to the beaches, the roads between the farms and the old national highway, among others. We want to clean and maintain these areas that due to their beauty and history deserve the care and respect of all.

One of our main concerns is to facilitate the collection of agricultural garbage that some farmers leave on the borders of their fields, and over time to raise awareness among the population of the pollution caused by these residues both on the land and in the landscape.

Our desire is to enjoy this exemplary place, helping to appreciate the environment and conserve it, emphasizing that action is one of the most effective ways to change our life and our environment.
